Holiday Gift Donations

Would you like to give a holiday gift that makes a difference?

Do you have someone on your list who “has everything”, who loves animals, who lost a pet, or who supports the Orange County community?

These and other people on your list may truly appreciate having a donation made in their name to the Orange County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OCSPCA) rather than receiving a traditional gift.

The Orange County SPCA was formed 30 years ago with the goal of reducing the number of pets that ended up in the shelters at risk of euthanasia through resources such as spay/neuter vouchers, financial assistance for critical care, and education and awareness of kindness to animals. We are not funded by any government agency or by the ASPCA.  The New York based ASPCA is the oldest and largest of the SPCAs but all SPCAs around the country are independent entities. The majority of the funding for the OCSPCA comes from residents living right here in Orange County and our purpose is to serve our local community.

A donation to the OCSPCA is a great way to show friends, family, co-workers and even clients that you are thinking about them, as well showing that you are mindful of the needs in your community. This year, choose the option to send an e-card acknowledging your donation to the OCSPCA and wish a loved one happy holidays!

If you agree that the welfare of animals in Orange County is important and that the OCSPCA’s programs provide value, please also consider asking others to make a donation to the OCSPCA in your honor in lieu of a traditional gift.  The donations you make or those make in your honor are 100% tax deductible (Tax ID #33-0257357). All those honored with a donation will receive a personalized letter to notify them of the contribution made in their name.
