Orange County SPCA Adoptions

The Orange County SPCA takes the placement and adoption process very seriously. Not all applicants will be approved. Our goal is to adopt in the best interest of the animal.

I’ve been available since July 1, 2019

Meet Peanut! At 11 years of age, this sweet gal found herself in a situation where she and her owner both became homeless. Wanting nothing but the best for Peanut, her owner tearfully surrendered Peanut to find a new home, where she could have a yard and a warm couch once again.

Peanut is a very loving and easy going lady, and absolutely loves people and the attention of a nice lap or spot on the couch. She gets along well with other dogs both large and small, although she can be the jealous type (wants all the attention for herself) and likes to take charge at times. She takes well to a crate, and does not seem to have the typical barking temperament commonly found with the breed. She would be fine with older, calmer dogs or as an only dog as she does prefer people to offer lots of love and attention.

She would be fine with children 10 years or over.

Peanut is a tan female Chihuahua, just over 11 years of age. She is completely current on all vaccinations, spayed, micro-chipped and has recently had bloodwork done and found to be in good health. She also recently underwent a full dental workup and treatment. for more information please call 714-964-4445.

The invitation to adopt is non transferable. All adoptions are subject to approval, verification and home check. Scroll down to application below images to be considered for her adoption.
